![]() His attacks are slower but much more powerful. Instead, this second stage is about dealing massive damage quickly and shielding. Once Dracula's health bar reaches its end, he will transform into a second form, a beast similar to the one from Rondo of Blood. Now, thankfully, he can be hit anywhere to deal damage, so it's no longer about precise hits. Look out for this transformation and shield appropriately. ![]() One of the ways he travels is by turning into bats, which has a large hitbox and deals a bunch of small hit damage. ![]() His attacks must quickly be followed up by a counter-attack otherwise he'll already be set charging up another. ![]() As previously mentioned, Dracula's main nuisance is the speed in which he moves about the stage. Dracula can also create pillars of flame in front and behind him, a move mimicking one from several of his boss battle appearances. And he uses fireballs in several ways: in waves of three, in reference to his first battle in Castlevania, or rotating sets like in Aria of Sorrow. These can be outmaneuvered with a fast character or shielding. The unique blend of horror styles, iconic moments and characters from the series, and a near-perfect reimagining of one of Castlevania's most iconic locations easily makes Dracula's Castle the best area in World of Light, especially for Castlevania fans.In the first stage, Dracula's moves take a while to hit, so use this time to prepare, either shielding or backing away. While the Dracula's Castle subsection in World of Light borrows a lot from the original Castlevania and Symphony of the Night, the area ends up being more than just a reference and moe-so an homage to why so many fans love the series. The second phase involves Dracula turning into his demonic appearance from Symphony of the Night, where Dracula relies much more on physical strength rather than projectiles. Dracula can't be damaged unless players attack his head and trying to attack any other part of his body will actually create a burst of mist that references Symphony of the Night's Mist Form mechanic. The fight itself is a two-stage battle where Dracula's various attack patterns are all pulled from Castlevania. ![]()
